The World Innovation Forum is organising a programme of meetings between the founders of high-growth technological businesses and the financial world. The aim is to present to the finance community some fifty young innovative businesses in the information and biotechnology sectors, selected after a call for presentations, and to provide a privileged meeting place between new business creators and financiers. The financial sector (pre-venture capital, private investors, risk capital, development capital, banks, consultancy, capital markets, etc.) wishes to invest in innovative business creation projects and to monitor and accompany their development. It is seeking projects already selected after an initial appraisal. For their part, the aims of founders (researchers, engineers, teams from major groups) are as follows:
International call for presentations of innovative businesses This call for presentations of innovative businesses states participation requirements, presentation rules, selection methods and criteria, etc. Arranging meetings and "who does what" Meetings will be arranged before and during the Forum between new business creators and financiers who express the desire. Office facilities will be made available. A list of participants, entrepreneurs and financiers will also be available to facilitate contacts. Interdisciplinary meeting area In the interdisciplinary meeting area, new business creators and company project sponsors can make contact with representatives of key public and private practitioners involved in transforming innovation into new activities and jobs.
