INTERNATIONAL CALL FOR PRESENTATIONS OF INNOVATIVE BUSINESSES

 General Information

 

Oral presentations

The presentation time for each company is 20 minutes.

The official languages of the World Innovation Forum are French and English.

Micro-computers will be available for the presentations.

Rehearsals are possible before the official presentations.

 

Private sessions with financiers

A secretariat will be at the disposal of entrepreneurs and financiers for arranging meetings.

Offices will be available to permit more in-depth presentations to interested financiers.

 

Selection of innovative businesses

The Selection Board will decide which projects are admitted after an initial project analysis by a work group composed of personalities and experts from sectors of industry and research, associations and finance.

Several criteria will be taken into account in analysing the proposals: management, product innovation, market suitability, the importance given to competition and the world market.

Contact will be established with sponsors of admitted projects with a view to ensuring consistency and quality of presentations.

 

Confidentiality

The usual rules of professional ethics and guarantees of confidentiality will be complied with.

 

Registration

Registration fee for calls for presentations: FF 1,500 (administration and file assessment costs)

Registration fee for the World Innovation Forum: see participation form

 

Closing date for file submission: 30 September 1998

The files will be examined during the summer as and when they are received by the group of experts.

At the end of September, the Selection Board will decide which projects are admitted.
